The Education Policy Institute for Bihar is a think-tank that aims to generate evidence for improving government schools in the Indian state of Bihar.

​

It is a project of Nitya Bal Vikas Deutschland e. V., a German charitable organization based near Munich. With EPIB Berlin we aim to support researchers who undertake meaningful studies that can help improving Bihar's public school education system.

Earlier, EPIB was located in Patna, Bihar, as a joint project of Nitya Bal Vikas Deutschland e. V. and Prayatna, an India-based non-profit organization. Since 2022, it has been shifted to Berlin and it has become a think-tank and grant-making organization.
